We embrace CLTI inaugural course April 9, 2025- April 10, 2025.
Thank you to all attendees last week who made this course a success! This was our first attempt at designing a curated OBL Course for women in medicine, with all female patients, and a multidisciplinary women faculty!
We started the course with skill stations that covered many topics. Some of which were trying out new technologies, ginger leadership, and having a really in-depth conversations regarding conflict management, communication, and how to deal with imposter syndrome which is a problem faced by both men and women! We all braved the crisp spring weather in Buffalo to take a group shot at Park Country Club with our panel of Dr. Constantino, Dr. Fidone, who were also course faculty, my dear friends Denise Neamon from Bonadio, and ROSANNA BERARDI from BERARDI Law. Over dinner conversation was all about life hacks, well-being, work-life-balance, and managing a practice as a mom, as a wife, and as a CEO!

The next day we worked in AccessCare, our OBL, four cases were performed all on female patients discussing the nuances of female patients and how to take care of them in an outpatient setting. Special thank you to my amazing team at the practice and AccessCare led by the one and only Dina Story, my wing woman! Dina spent some time with the OBL administrators who were at the course going over finances, inventory, ordering, and team management.

By the end of the day we went from strangers to becoming a tribe, with sincere hugs and thank you's, we connected and we plan to grow our tribe to support one another as we navigate this ever-changing landscape of women in Endovascular!
