Dr. Noor sheds light on the specific complications that women can have during aneurysm repair and how these problems can be solved with medical devices and research tailored towards women.
Despite 1 in 5 abdominal aortic aneurysms occuring in women, abdominal aortic aneurysms is perceived as a “man's disease” and women are clinically underrepresented in screening studies and aneurysm repair trials. Fortunately, Dr. Noor is changing the status quo by being an advocate for new studies and therapies in aneurysm repair specifically tailored towards women.
