I feel so blessed to work in a vascular institute shoulder to shoulder with world class cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, neuro interventionists, interventional radiology, and vascular surgery. 13 years ago now, it was my first weekend on-call when the vascular institute had opened and sure enough a ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm showed up.
